The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the world’s most popular high-stakes English language proficiency test for study, migration, and work, with more than 3.5 million tests taken in the past year.

You may either visit your nearest IDP branch to register offline or book your IELTS test online. You are asked to select your preferred city and date when you register for the IELTS test. The test date may vary as per location and test type; pick the date that suits you the most.

IDP has test centres in 78 cities across India to make it convenient for our test takers. We recommend you register in advance to be able to choose your desired test slot and date. The listening, reading, and writing sections of the IELTS are conducted on the same date with no break in between the sections. The speaking section is always scheduled on another date, whose confirmed date is informed via email 48 to 72 hours in advance.
